Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital (ENRH) celebrated 21 outstanding members of staff during its annual Christmas Carol Service held at the hospital’s conference hall. These individuals were recognized for their exceptional dedication and performance throughout the year 2024.
The awardees were drawn from all departments of the hospital, including Clinical Services, Nursing and Midwifery, Pharmacy, Accounts, Specialized Clinics, Health Administration, Support Services among others and one special nominee selected by the Medical Director.
The conference hall was filled to capacity as the hospital’s various units showcased their singing prowess with captivating renditions of Christmas carols. Performances were delivered by groups such as the Hospital Choir, Orderlies Choir, Security and Front Desk Staff Choir, all doctors and pharmacists Choir, Recovery and HDU (Main & Ground Floor Theatre) Staff Choir, Administration, Night Supervisors and In-Service Staff Choir and many more.
The event also featured nine lessons, read by selected members of management and staff, creating a perfect blend of music and reflection.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Ghana Prison Service Band provided instrumental support, elevating the quality of the musical performances.
The Medical Director, who chaired the ceremony, expressed his gratitude for the achievements of the hospital throughout the year. He commended the awardees for their hard work and dedication, highlighting their contributions to service and humanity. He encouraged all staff to continue striving for excellence in 2025 to further uplift the hospital’s image.
In a touching gesture of support, Justmoh Construction Limited donated essential items to aid the hospital’s efforts in combating cholera outbreak in the region.
The ENRH Christmas Carol Service concluded on a high note, leaving staff and attendees motivated to achieve even greater milestones in the coming year.
