Dr Araba Pratt of the Anesthesia Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has donated eighty (80) pieces of student mattress to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.

Dr Araba Pratt donated the mattresses on behalf of her dad, Joseph Tawiah Pratt.

Dr. Pratt says the gesture was made possible through a collaborative effort of Dr David Owusu of the Internal Medicine Department of the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.

Receiving the items, Deputy Head of Administration, Mr. Michael McCarthy said the gesture will supplement the bed capacity of the Hospital and help alleviate the plight clients sometimes go through.
