The Takoradi International Company Limited in Aboadze has donated a number of items to support Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital new Breast Clinic.
The items which were presented at the forecourt of the ENRH stores Unit include a television set, double deck refrigerator, an air conditioner and three recliner chairs. This is the first donation to the center since its establishment this year.
The breast Care Center which is the first of its kind in the Western and Western North Regions is poised to help address breast care issues and ultimately reduce the incidence of breast cancer particularly among women. The Center also doubles as a chemotherapy suite that takes care of patients receiving systematic treatment for cancer as well as for cervical screening. The center is adjacent the ENRH OPD Pharmacy.
The donation was made possible through the instrumentality of Center manager who is an Oncology Nurse Specialist Jackline Addae. The items were presented on behalf of TICO by Mr Smith Danquah Joseph and Maame Ermah Essel Mensah. Receiving the items on behalf of the Hospital, ENRH Nurse Manager, DDNS Justina Amo-Yartey expressed appreciation to TICO and assured them the items will be put to good use.
