The Founder and President of the Evangelism for Kingdom Living and General Overseer of Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries Archbishop Akwasi Asare Bediako has called on the general public to support Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Breast Care Center. He made the call when he paid a visit to the Hospital to interact with management.
The Archbishop who is in the Western Region for a 3 Day crusade took opportunity of his visit to pray for management, staff and clients of the Hospital for God’s protection and guidance and also listened to some of the challenges being experienced by the facility.
Medical Director of the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Dr Joseph Kojo Tambil highlighted the need for a broken down mammography machine to be restored to help early detection and to save lives of women suffering from breast cancer. He indicated that the mammogram which was brought by government in 2014 is not being put to use because one of the parts cannot be traced. Management has made several calls for help to put the machine to use but the Hospital is yet to receive a positive response.
Archbishop Asare Bediako promised to add voice to calls to support the repair of the machine. He made a cash donation of GH 2000 in support of the Hospital’s activities. The Archbishop was accompanied by Reverend Boamah Agyekum who is the Head Pastor of the Emmanuel Community Church, some members of the Network of Churches and the Christian Council in the Western Region the Daughters of Glorious Jesus and other renowned gospel musicians.
